July 2023

At the beginning of July(end of June) we had so many events taking place that we decided to stay up north. We made the most of it by doing as much as we could.

Wheeler Farm...

Got to see Newsies at Hale Center Theatre...

On the 4th of July we did a special activity for Tess' upcoming birthday. We went to Seaquest and let her have an experience with a sloth. She was so excited and loved every second with Lil Bit. It was so fun to see her interact with and learn about her favorite animal. We were then able to go through the aquarium to see and pet a bunch of different animals

We stopped at Aunt Sara's parents house where I got to drive their decked out Jeep and where the girls got a little tractor ride that ended in some blood, tears, and vows to never ride a kiddie train again.

Then we had the annual 4th of July Bees Game with the Payne's. It's always a good time with this group.

Took the train around Downtown Salt Lake...

Explored the Planetarium...

Enjoyed all of nature at Silver Lake...

Fun sleeping arrangements at the AirBnB...

Got to have lunch with Grandma Ruth...

Addy and her bestie Brinlee get a day together so we took them all to Provo Beach...

Then Tess got to spend a day with her bestie from Lehi, Kassidy. These two hadn't seen each other in a long time, but they acted as though they had never been apart. It was so cute. We had a fun day at Kangaroo Zoo, riding the mall animals, and then re-piercing Tess' ears.

We even made it to the Payne Family Reunion that we hadn't been to in years...

For my birthday, Devin set up another trip up north for the 2 of us. Although he had to work for some of it, I was able to relax, do some temple work, and serve some of the homeless by bringing them food. Then he took me for a bike ride around the city and Lobster Roll Lunch!

One of my favorite things about this girl is the cuddles...

One of my favorite things about this girl is hearing her sing, especially songs of Christ...

July was a whirlwind of fun and memories. With the end of it however comes the realization that school is looming not too far in the distance. We will have to soak up what is left of our summer as best as we can.
