30 Years of Awesomeness!

Last week Devin turned the big 30... so of course we had to celebrate big.  But what do you do for a laid-back, sports loving, competitive kind of guy?  That also doesn't cost a fortune?  Enter Noah's Events Center... a place where you can rent different types of rooms based on your needs.  I chose the game room (pool, ping pong, etc) and the wallyball room.  Loaded it up with family, friends, and food and it was exactly what I was hoping it would be for Devin's 30th.

30 Years of Awesomeness perfectly describes Devin.  Sure I haven't known Devin for all 30 years, but I do know that his siblings and parents adore him, he is still close with many of his friends from his childhood, and those who we randomly run into have nothing but great things to say about him.  Those things tell me he was just as awesome before I knew him as he is now.  Devin always amazes me at how quickly he is able to make friends.  People tend to gravitate to him and love having him around.  He is such a hard worker in all that he does... work, school, church... always going above and beyond the call of duty.  His ability to laugh at life is always a reminder to not take life so seriously.  Plus I can ALWAYS count on a joke from him.  He is the most thoughtful person I know... He constantly says things like, "I found something I thought you would like," or "I heard you saying you needed this so I got it for you," or "I know you have been stressed so I brought home dinner."  He is, by far, the most AWESOME person I know and I look forward to the next 30 awesome years.
