November is such a great month. Gratitude is spread everywhere and it seems to linger throughout the rest of the year. We have daily reminders of all the things that we are blessed with and we seem to take things a little less for granted. Here are some things that we enjoyed this month...
Temple Square in the fall was beautiful and it was fun to walk around and enjoy it as a family...
These two get to spend a lot of one on one time together in the mornings before Quincy heads off to Kindergarten. There are many moments where they get on each others' nerves with lots of screaming and crying, but then there are also moments like these that I am grateful to witness...
I love this tradition of Our Thankful Tree. Each day we write on a leaf the things that we are grateful for and it is such a great reminder of all that we are blessed with.
Had a chance to go out with my father-in-law to see the play Big Fish. It was a fun night.
First snowfall. Even though it was just a flurry Quincy couldn't have been more excited...
Tessly's Shenanigans...
Raking leaves was a hit with all the girls (although it very nearly killed me!). As Quincy was helping me before school she said, "Mom, could you leave these piles so that Addie has a chance to jump in them too?" She is such a sweet girl and I am so grateful for her thoughtfulness. It was so fun watching them all jump, run, and play. And then they each helped to clean up afterwards.
Had a chance to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Wayment this month. I love that my girls have the opportunity to know their great-grandparents like I did. Such sweet moments...
Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast...
Thanksgiving Day with a full tree and full hearts... So much to be grateful for, but especially for this sweet family of mine. So lucky to have each and every one of them.
After Thanksgiving, we are ready for the Christmas decorations to go up...
Went to the Norman Rockwell Exhibit with friends. It was a great experience...
And of course, Krispy Kreme afterwards was pretty necessary...
Its hard to believe that we are already at the tail end of 2015. Its been such a busy year but I feel like I say that about every year! Will it ever slow down? Probably not. So we'll just have to continue to do our best to enjoy it... busyness and all!
