Sum-Up For July

Hard to believe that we are at the end of July already!  Time to sum up our festivities for this month.

Play Dates
5 adults+ 11 kids+children's museum+ downtown+ train+water= 1 fabulous day!  Love this group of friends that we have!

We had the chance to babysit this sweet little bitty for a few weeks.  The girls loved her and would ask over and over, "Is Baby Addy coming today?"

Having some fun with my awesome Young Women, who are so sweet to let my girls help them with their crafts!

Checking out the Pioneer Day Floats.  They had some pretty awesome things to see and we didn't have to wait in the hot sun for hours to see them... Bonus!

We have had lots and lots of swimming play dates.  On our most recent one the girls tried out the diving board.  It quickly became Adalyn's new favorite thing to do!  Quincy took a couple jumps and that was enough for her!

Adalyn's Family Chalk Portrait... You can't really see it but there is a heart below each person's head.  She is such a sweet girl!

Just a little baking...

T-Ball

The girls had a blast with T-Ball.  It was so fun watching them play and learn the rules of baseball.  It was fun for them to be a the same team together and with their friend Avery.
The T-Ball Chicks

 Grandparents are our biggest fans!

My 30th Birthday Week
My awesome friends showed up one night for dessert and chatting dressed in our very best matching outfits... Leopard leggings and Justin Bieber shirts just scream for a self-timed photo shoot! Seriously love these amazing ladies! (First Pic (left to right): Melanie, Me, Megan, Carla)

Next up: Birthday Lunch! The ladies from above along with several other friends met up for a Birthday Lunch Celebration.  Little did I know that some Dirty Thirty surprises were in store...

The morning of my Birthday I woke up to a Time Capsule: All the best things to come out of 1983, along with a sympathy card for the loss of under 30 Krystal.  Devin comes up with the most creative things!

Then we headed out to Jordanelle, where Devin surprised me by renting Paddle Boards.  This was so awesome!  We have never done this before and it was such a fun experience!

A couple weeks prior to my birthday Devin found the perfect bike and just couldn't wait for my birthday to give it to me!  Such a thoughtful guy!  We have had some fun family bike rides throughout the month!

What a way to head into my 30's.  I couldn't have been more spoiled by my husby, my family, and my friends!  Thanks to everyone who made it so great!

 Family Reunion

Devin's extended family had a reunion up in American Fork Canyon.  The girls loved all the hiking and climbing they were able to do!

July was such a fun and busy month.  I'm not sure we are ready for August, but bring it on!

The 4th Of July

As usual, with the busy-ness of life, we tried to make our holiday weekend as simple as possible.
We started celebrations early with a night at the Riverton Rodeo the week before...

The night before the fourth, we hung out with some friends for some fireworks and popsicles...

On Independence Day, rather than fighting the crowds and the heat at the parades, we headed to the movies instead.  The girls love going to movies and Despicable Me 2 was a fun one to see...

Then that night we met up with The Payne Clan for a BBQ and a Bee's Game.  It was a lot of fun and we couldn't ask for a better way to spend the 4th...

The next day we headed to Brigham City for my nephew's 5th Birthday Party... and what a party it was!  My sister should be a Professional Party Planner...her parties always look as though they have been professionally done and this one was no exception.  Having a Pirate theme, this party was complete with a real pirate to entertain, a pirate ship bounce house, more food and candy than any kid could ever imagine, and much more.  The girls had a blast and they are still talking about it...

We had a great holiday weekend... including a date night with my brother and his wife (thanks to my in-laws!).
