TuTu Cute!
So in my searches on the internet, I came across a website that gave instructions on how to make a tutu. After seeing the pictures, I simply could not resist. The end result: I am so glad that I have no willpower!
I solicited my mom's help. Thank goodness I did... after a cutting mishap, her sewing expertise saved the day! Thank Heavens for Grandmas!

Until she got bored! Then Aunt Melissa took over and got her right to sleep!

We Love Daddy!!
Adalyn had this cute outfit on today and it inspired me to let Devin know how much he is loved.
The best part of the day is when Devin comes walking through the door of our house. Adalyn gets a huge smile on her face when she sees him. It is very obvious that she loves her Daddy. Devin has been sick lately and to avoid getting Adalyn sick, he hasn't played with her much. I could tell how much it affected them both. Adalyn would just watch Devin with an expression that seemed to say, "Why aren't you playing with me!" I don't know what I did in Heaven to deserve a man who not only is an amazing husband, but the best father anyone could ask for. So Devin, while you are working away, know that two lil ladies are home thinking about you. WE LOVE YOU!!

Goodbye Summer... Hello Fall
As a farewell to summer my mom, sister Melissa, Devin, Adalyn, and I decided that we should hike up Waterfall Canyon in Ogden. It was so beautiful up there and a really good workout... especially for Devin who had to carry Adalyn the entire way up the steep hike. Adalyn loved being outside and having so many new things to look at.
Beginning the Hike...

Somewhere in the Middle...

At the Waterfall...

And Going back down... This is Ogden Valley

To kick-off the Fall Season we headed down to Thanksgiving Point for the Cornbelly's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Fest. We went with Devin's sister Shannon and her kids Natalee and Carson. It was so much fun... and such a great way to get excited for fall. Here are some pics from the day.

The Princesses and their Coachmen

Walking through the corn maze... we cheated and took an emergency exit to get out.

in on the slides with all the kids.
Shannon and I horsin' around.

Look at Me...I'm 5 Months Old
It's hard to believe that another month has come and gone! Adalyn is growing up way too fast, but it is so much fun watching all the new things that she does. Here are a few videos to show what she has been up to lately.
Also, I have come to find that my attempts to lay Adalyn down for a nap don't always work. I swaddle her up really nice so that she can have a comfortable, uninterrupted sleep... just as this picture shows.

However, when I go back in to check on her, this is generally what I find...
She breaks free from her blanket, and scoots herself all the way to the other side of the crib. My favorite is when she just looks up at me and grins like, "You can't get mad at me!" It's hilarious.
Please excuse Devin's commentary on this one.
