July is always such a fun month. With birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, vacations, etc. we always end up making lots of memories and having lots of fun.
To start, our good friends, The Cleggs, moved back up north last month. It was a quick gathering of some stuff and heading up with the intention of coming back this month to finish all the packing, moving, cleaning, and prepping the house for the renter. But while they were here we had to have some fun too! They took us out on their boat at Gunlock Reservoir. We even saw some other friends there and the girls had so much fun...

For the 4th of July we drove up to Fillmore to see Bryan and Shannon in the parade. Plus, we love small town festivities so we love going there.

Then we headed back to St. George in time to watch the fireworks from his work again. This time the Cleggs came as well and we played some games after watching the fireworks. The next few days were all about packing up their house, cleaning, and making some small repairs. Tess would pop in every once in a while to help out...

And then we celebrated Tess' 11th Birthday. She is easily the sweetest you will ever find. She loves animals and helps out the neighborhood by taking care of their pets. She loves helping people, anything Disney, and collecting things like stuffed animals, rocks, and miniature items. She feels things very deeply and can quickly move from one emotion to another. She doesn't love the idea of growing up but seems to adapt well once she gets there. She is fun loving, absolutely silly, and brings joy to so many people. We love this girl!

The view of the Pine Valley Fire from our house...

We had a lot of things taking place up north so we decided to travel up there and make the most of it. We stayed with the Olson's which was like giving the girls 24/7 access to their best friends.

Coco also got to join a birthday party for her friend, Andelynn, who had moved earlier that month...
Then I met up with Amber to hike in Provo Canyon before the Payne Family Reunion that they were having there. Provo Canyon is beautiful and we had a such a great hike. Then it was fun to see all of the Payne family gathered together. Of course, I failed to get any pictures of the reunion.
Devin surprised me for my birthday by setting up a dinner (fully cooked by Carla) with our Sandy crew. The food was amazing, the company was even better, and we even got our usual 'Prom' picture. It was such a great night...
Addy was at FSY during my birthday but she still sent me this amazing text...
Before heading back home we met up with Amber and Andelynn one more time. Amber and I went up American Fork Canyon to hike to Silver Lake. Once we got there we decided to keep going up to Silver Glance Lake. It was a gorgeous hike and Amber even climbed into the water to save a bird that was stuck in the reeds. We held it, dried it off as best as we could, warmed it up a bit, and then put it in a tree to keep it safe. Meanwhile, Coco and Andelynn had a very much missed playdate.
We had a little more fun with cousins before we stopped for some school shopping on the way home...
The very next weekend, the Cleggs came back down to St. George for a visit and Coco got to join them out on their boat. These friends are so cute together...
Labubus are a major trend happening right now and our favorite doughnut shop created them in doughnut form. The girls were so excited...
And that wrapped up our July. We were busy but with such fun things that we were sad for it to end. Suddenly, it was time to start getting ready for school that isn't far away. Summer always goes by way too quickly.
