March 2021

After a hectic February we were looking forward to a calmer March.  But with more visitors coming and more travel plans in store, calm wasn't exactly what March was going to be.  But, crazy as our life can be, we love it.

Gavin, Becky, Katie, and Maggie came for a visit and it's so fun having them around.  We played, hiked, ate, mined for gems, and searched for petroglyphs. We love this family and always enjoy their company so much.  When they visited back in December, Coco made best friends with Becky but called her Ducky.  That friendship was reinforced with this visit and Coco wanted to be by Ducky's side every chance she could.

Shortly after changing schools, Tess was invited to a new friend's birthday party.  She was so excited but we knew she would make friends quickly.

And then it was our turn to travel up north over our Spring Break.  We were able to see some family and hang out with our friends in Sandy and Lehi.  Unexpectedly during this time,  Coco developed croup and wasn't breathing well so we ended up in the ER.  We then had to decide whether to continue our trip to Logan or head home.  We felt good about continuing and headed up to Logan to be with Gavin and Becky again.  They showed us around Logan, cooked the most amazing food, and let us enjoy their company for the 2nd time this month.

Then Grandma and Grandpa Wayment had us over for an egg hunt since we wouldn't be around for Easter.

And a quick visit to Great Grandma and Grandpa Wayment's is always the best way to end a trip.  We sure adore these two.

Just after that Jordan, Melissa and their kids came down for a visit.  So of course we showed them around, played a lot, hunted frogs, and Melissa and I even snuck out for a couple walks, some sushi, and watching Pride and Prejudice.  So fun having them with us.

Addie got a date night with Dad:

Tess' School had a Color Run Fundraiser and she was desperate to go.  So we made it a family event and it was so much fun!

Then the Nursery Leaders put together the cutest Easter activity.  It was so fun watching all the kids be together after a year without nursery.

Phew! We survived February and March! Now on to another busy month!
