September brought a routine and a steadiness that we hadn't felt in awhile. With the kids back at school and finally acclimated to their new schedules we really began to feel settled. The kids loved being back at school and finding a sense of "normalcy." We managed to still have some adventures in between the routine though.
Smoke from fires made for an interesting sunset...

The annual Wayment Reunion at the cabin made for a fun start to the month. However, due to some plumbing issues we weren't able to stay for the whole weekend as planned. It was a quick trip, but the kids always love this time with their cousins catching lizards, playing in dirt, riding 4 wheelers, and just exploring.
Sometimes when we do laundry we have to find ways to make it fun...
A crazy freak thing happened with Tess. She asked me to clean her ears because they had been hurting a bit. While cleaning them I took out her earring only to find that her ear had been torn through. I asked if something happened... did someone pull on it, or did it get stuck on something. She said nothing happened and that it just barely started hurting. After an Instacare visit and an visit to the ER it was determined that nothing could be done as the edges of the ear had already healed apart. So at some point she will have to have it surgically fixed.
Couldn't wait to try the new ice cream place that came to town. It was amazing. Unfortunately Tess' didn't last long...
Still enjoying park days and being outside...
I hope these girls will never lose their ability to play and laugh and be silly together...
Made the mistake of ordering something in Spanish that I didn't translate well...
Dancing in the mall...
Addie's beautiful school pictures. She is growing up way too fast!
Coco has been growing up so much too. We feel like every milestone is just a step further away from being the baby. She learned to ride her tricycle all by herself this month and is constantly attempting more and more ways of being independent. Makes my mama heart a little sad.
