With school coming up quick, we decided to take a quick trip down to Las Vegas. It was such a fun last little getaway before the school year begins. We swam, shopped, hotel hopped, walked a ton, and had some late night family games. The girls loved seeing all the sights and Coco had to ride the escalators any time they were in sight. It was a fun way to end the summer!
Oldest and Youngest... cutest sisters
I can't believe that this is the only picture that I got, but we went to Fire Lake with the Piercy family when they were in town. It's always fun to see friends when they visit St. George!
While the older girls were with friends, I took Coco to the mall so that she could ride the escalators to her hearts content... and she did!
We also found a park to play at...
These 2 besties hate saying goodbye...

Addie really wanted to get into Vista School as it is a Performing Arts school. She was thrilled to get in and ready to start the new year.
The other girls decided to stay at Santa Clara Elementary and they were excited to be joining their neighborhood friends at school.
From now on Coco gets 1 on 1 time with Mom while the girls are at school. We try to get out and about most days, usually rotating between the lake and the parks with splash pads since its still really hot out. It's so fun to watch her grow and explore and try new things.
She still wants mom to be close though. It's my favorite when she just has to put her little hand on me.
Yet another time when I failed to get good pictures. Shannon and Cory came to stay for a night and we took them to hike the narrows in Zion... unfortunately we didn't make it very far as it turned out to be a cold and rainy day. Next time we'll get through!
These crazy girls were instant best friends and it's been fun to see watch their friendship develop!
Once school began, we finally starting feeling like this was home and not just a vacation. Having schedules and routines tends to do that. We are all grateful that the kids were able to go back to school and not have online school and we are looking forward to all that this coming school year holds.
