July 2019

July started off with Shannon getting remarried to Cory.  After a difficult and heartbreaking divorce with Matt, Shannon met Cory and they quickly realized how happy they made each other. They were married and later they were sealed at the Draper Temple.

Coco warming up to Carson just a week before he leaves on his Mission!

This girl... she fell asleep with food in her mouth!

The annual Bees Game on the 4th of July.  For the first time in forever, we thought we were going to get rained out.  But thanks to some stubborn men, we stuck it out and ended up having a great time!

Wayment Family Cabin Trip. 4 Wheeling, Dirt, Lizards, and Family. Always a fun time!

Tess turned 5 years old this month!  This girl brings so much joy wherever she goes.  She's always complimenting people, making new friends, and handing out hugs freely.  She is one of the happiest kids I know with one of the best memories.  She amazes us with the things she can remember.  She loves to talk, seems to have endless amounts of energy, and has a heart much fuller than that of a 5 year olds.  She is excited to start school (but mostly for the friends) and likes being told that she looks older than she is.  It's hard to believe how big she is getting but we love watching her grow.

The Payne Family Reunion fell on the same day so Tess got to celebrate with all the family! We spent the morning at Blackridge Pond and had fun eating and playing in the water.

It was so cute to see Coco spend some time with Carson.  He left for his mission to Chile the very next day so it was so great to see them together.

Birthday Cake and Presents!

Right after that Tess had her final swim lesson for the summer...

Worn out after a fun morning...

But we had more birthday fun in store!  Tess had been begging to dye her hair pink so we went to get our hair done...

And then Tess got her ears pierced!  She was so brave and just hugged that bear!

Doughnuts were her desired birthday cake this year!

Devin got me an early Birthday Present to see Hugh Jackman with the 2 older girls.  It was such a fun night and an amazing concert!

Tess playing dress-up with a neighbor friend.

Tess decided to have an Ariel themed birthday party this year.  It was so fun to have her friends over for some outdoor fun!

Addie and Quincy were such big helpers running a couple of the activities for me!

Devin took Addie and Quincy and their friends Brinlee and Lizzie to see the play Freaky Friday.  They had a blast and we have been listening to the music ever since!

I took Coco for a walk one night and turned around to find her like this...

Dad teaching her a new trick...

Addie, Maddie, and Katie did another acting camp together in Logan with the Pickleville Theatre.  They had a lot of fun!

Snuggles...

Never thought I'd see this in a million years!

Another day at the pool I happened to run into a few of my YW from my Sandy ward.  I hadn't seen them in a long time so it was a very loud and excited reunion.  So much so, that we scared Coco!  I love these ladies!

Game time with dad...

On my birthday, Devin surprised me with renting wave runners at Deer Creek.  I haven't been on wave runner since I was in high school and we were laughing so hard all day.  It was so much fun!

Devin had a convention in Las Vegas so we decided to tag along.  While Devin worked the girls and I explored Las Vegas.  They loved it there and it was fun hanging out with them!

Tess begged us to let her sleep on this weird little bench.  She was so happy when we said yes!

We were hoping to spend most of our time at the hotel pool but due to lightening ended up getting kicked out most of the time!  It was fun when did finally get to swim though!

Had to stop at the Coke Factory and try their drinks from around the world.  Wish I could say that they were all amazing, but they had some really weird ones that we didn't like at all.  Fun to try though.

On the way home we stayed in St. George for a night and met up with Shannon, Cory, and their girls for some ice cream and some hiking.

Built this Temple for the Stake Primary Activity Days Program.

And last but not least... something I also thought I would never see happen.  Devin bought a truck!  He found this one that has enough seats for entire family.  And we are constantly talking about how we need a truck to haul stuff or even to just take our toys or bikes places.  The girls love going for rides in the truck and we couldn't be happier with this decision.

Such a fun month!!
