The second it started to get warm, Tess wanted to be outside all the time. Unfortunately we are in Utah now so that means there is no guarantee of the warmth lasting long. Frustrating for a toddler (and her mom!)
Our friend, Hudson, had a birthday party at pretty much the coolest place. The girls have asked to go back to Funtopia everyday since.
Kace and Tess. Between their curly locks and adorable faces I can't help but hope they fall in love someday! Can you blame me?
A sweet gal in our ward created a game called The Jane Game. It is all things Jane Austen and is pretty much the best game out there. So of course we had to create a party around it! Florals, tea cups, and plenty of 'accomplished' women made for such a great night!

Finally got around to updating our room a bit. This wall of white curtain needed to come down.
After sanding and re-staining this oak rod to match our furniture, I am super happy with the outcome...

After months of planning, we sent the girls on a Disney scavenger hunt throughout our house.
In the end they found out that they were going to Disneyland! They were so excited and began counting down the days until we left. Later on, they found out that we were meeting our best friends from California there. The anticipation was off the hook!
Addie also had eye surgery this month. This smart kid read up on all the information that the doctor gave us, weighed her options, and made the decision to have the surgery in the hopes that her eyes would be aligned enough to start working together. We were warned that she would have a difficult time right after the surgery and that she would be very miserable for a few days afterward.
When she came out of surgery she said, "Is it done? Cuckoo-ca-choo" (as per Devin's request). And then it was nothing like I expected. There was no crying or whining. She just calmly laid there like a little angel. And although she was in pain she was a champ throughout the whole recovery.
Devin got tickets to see Brian Regan for his birthday and we finally got to use them. What a great experience... the guy is hilarious!

Tess discovered the joy of building...
Addie had her first piano recital. She had only been taking lessons for a month and I thought she did great!
Quincy made us laugh one night when she came up to us with a $5 and a $1 and said, "Look what I got!" When we asked where she got it from she told us that a kid in her class gave it to her so that she would bring him some candy. What?! I'm not sure exactly how it all went down but I do know that this kid is extremely persuasive so I can only imagine. After discussing it all with her we decided that she could purchase a candy from her sister's business with the $1 and then she needed to return the $5 to him. This kid...
With Easter just around the corner we decided to die some Easter eggs...
Easter Day! The girls loved finding their baskets in the morning...
And then we headed outside for an egg hunt...
Later in the day we had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Wayment's...
Complete with overloaded bags of goodies...
And last of all, the girls to to dress up for school one day as Cowboys and Indians...
And that wrapped up March for us.
