February is always a busy month for us... What with Quincy's and Devin's birthdays and Valentine's Day in between. And this year came with a lot of ups and downs. We really enjoyed the ups and survived the downs with as much grace as we could! Here's what this February looked like...
A couple days after Quincy's birthday, Grandpa Wayment was able to visit and bring more presents! Quincy was so excited that he could visit for her birthday!
And Tessly couldn't help but give Grandpa some nice loves and kisses...
Throughout January and February, the doctor's office felt like our 2nd home. Tessly had bronchitis for literally the entire 2 months, that was accompanied by 2 separate ear infections, pink eye, teething issues, and stomach issues (caused by the antibiotics). Needless to say, we haven't slept much in these last 2 months and the poor kid just couldn't seem to catch a break. We are lucky to have a pediatrician who is not only patient but very helpful.
This month, Tess started doing this face. Clearly, we all think it's hilarious...
Devin set up a date night swap with some friends of ours for Valentine's Day. So they took our kids one night so that we could go out on a date and we took their kids another night so that they could go. We ended up going to dinner which was delicious, but the highlight of our night was ending up at a little German Bakery where they had a band and everyone sang along to German folk songs. It was so great.
Check out the older gentleman on the bottom right... He is 101 years old, sang along, and smiled the entire time we were there! We couldn't help but watch him...
Valentine's Day!! The girls woke up to some surprises...
Which included matching outfits... Look at those cute little Love Bugs!
We attempted to go to a Stanford Gymnastics Meet but we didn't last long, due to some situational circumstances. I think we will all enjoy it more when we are more prepared with snacks and not so tired!
We then ended the night with a candle-lit dinner for 5...
Another day in the City: As you have come to see, we absolutely love San Francisco and will take as many opportunities to go there as we can. We may not do big, elaborate things every time we go, but just being there is enough for us. It is a fabulous place and we are lucky to live so close to be able to visit as often as we want!
Our hearts are definitely in San Francisco...

When Addie had a day off of school we checked out The Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. They loved it and I imagine we will make many trips back there.
Quincy lost her very first tooth this month. She was so excited and felt even more like a big kid. She didn't want me to pull it out and did everything she could to keep me from getting to it but once she decided she was ready we easily popped it out and she couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to come!
The very next day, Addie decided that she would not be outdone by her younger sister. So she whacked her face on the bars at school and had the dentist pull out 3 of her broken teeth. She was so brave throughout the whole thing but was pretty sore for the next few days. Needless to say, we kept the tooth fairy on her toes around here.
And last, but not least, we celebrated Devin's 32nd birthday. The girls were excited to give him his presents in the morning and then we decorated for a special dinner for him when he came home from work that night.
Quincy had asked him, "What kind of birthday party do you want, dad?" And he responded, "A superman party!" We aim to please...
For as sick as Tessly was, we never knew it until the nighttime. During the day she was her typical happy, sweet self. She loves to talking and will jabber all day long...
So long February 2015...
