Sometimes you just need to sleep when the baby sleeps...
Tessly has become more and more alert and she loves looking at all the different shapes around her. In the past couple of weeks she has been getting really excited when we stop in front of this picture of red dots that Quincy made. She is starting to notice other things around her as well. It's so fun to watch her grow.
A couple weeks ago one of Quincy's close friends, Martha, moved to France for a few months. We were lucky that we could sneak in a play date with her before she left...
Quincy started soccer and has been loving it so far. At their first game she was the only one on her team to score a goal!
Here is Quincy singing a part of the song "I'm Number One" from the new muppets movie. She is so good at doing different voices/accents. She is always keeping us laughing...
Art projects and preschool activities keep us going...
One Friday, Addie had the day off of school so Devin took the day off too and we all headed down to Monterey. It was Tessly's first time to see the aquarium and the ocean. She LOVED it... especially the ocean (just like her mom). We both could have sat by the ocean all day and been perfectly happy! It was such a wonderful day spending time all together as a family. I sure do love this bunch...
There is never a moment that Adalyn and Quincy aren't wanting to hold, touch, talk to, kiss, and be near Tessly. Sometimes it's overwhelming, but she is one loved little girl and I don't mind that at all.
Tess has started to grab onto things. First it was just our hands, which she loves to hold when she is falling asleep, and now she is starting to grab onto her rattles and binky.
It is the absolute best when we can get Tessly to laugh. What a sweet little thing she is...
And that wraps up our September. Devin will be starting a new position within eBay in October and we are looking forward to the subtle changes that it could bring (i.e. Devin being happier at work). Bring on October.
