With summer in full swing we got right to being busy and having fun!
We were able to see our niece Natalee graduate from high school. I joined the Payne family when Natalee was around 6 years old and have watched her grow into the beautiful young woman she is. It was fun being a part of this special day for her.
Spent some time at Thanksgiving Point throughout the summer...
Tess hit a big milestone this month... After letting it go for far too long we finally convinced Tess that it was time to throw away the binky's that she so dearly loved. Her reward was a brand new "big girl" bed and she was thrilled! The first night was a little hard for her without the binky but she quickly got over it and has gone without ever since!
Spent a lot of time at the baseball fields watching these two girls. So fun watching them learn and get better and this sport!
We were blessed with a big surprise this month! We found out baby #4 would join our family in February 2018. Devin and I were surprised, but the girls were shocked and unprepared for the news. It definitely took some time to process. And the difficulty of pregnancy slowed us down a bit over the summer.

Any chance we have to be near some water, we take it. Blackridge Pond is one of our favorites...
Our sweet friends the Cox Family invited us to come and stay a night with them in Park City. It was so fun swimming, making s'mores, playing games, riding the Alpine Slide, crafting, and hanging out!
With the idea of 4 kids weighing on our minds and our beloved Pilot beginning to have some problems, we decided that it was time to make a change and get something that would be more functional for our growing family. I have sworn my entire life that I would never drive a van... and then I test drove one. Though it was hard to give up my pride and say goodbye to our Pilot, our new van has just made so much sense for our family right now. And the kids absolutely love it, so that's a plus.
Drove up to Squaw Peak one night... It was a little chilly but a beautiful view of the valley.
It has been fun to watch this friendship grow and develop. Tess constantly talks about her best friend Kassidy and it is so fun watching them play together.
More time at Thanksgiving Point... today the Farm.
Had the chance to spend the day with my mom. We did a session at the Logan Temple, went to lunch, drove out to the Pepperidge Farm Factory, and of course stopped for some Aggie Ice Cream! Such a fun day!
Addie has been waiting for this day for a very long time. After years of patching, bi-focals, surgery, and countless eye appointments her doctor finally said she could be done with bi-focals. She was SO excited!
Helping me peel my sunburned skin...
Won't take naps anymore so then this happens...
End of the season for Quincy. She was excited to get a medal and a doughnut!
Tried out a new splash pad that is ginormous and so much fun...
So worn out that she couldn't stay awake to eat her ice cream afterwards...
Just a stroll into Costco...
I guess we play too hard...
Lehi Rodeo Roundup is always a blast...
Tess loves to tell stories and it is cute to hear what she comes up with!
June came and went pretty fast. Pregnancy symptoms hit hard which slowed us down most days but the girls were good sports and we got out and had fun when we could.
