 June in St. George meant that it was starting to get HOT!  It was still bearable though and we continued to explore our surroundings.  Here's what we did...

We explored Red Cliffs National Conservation Area.  It was a fun hike with lots of different things to climb on.

Happenings in the neighborhood: 1) Girl's Night for Tess and her group 2&3) Rollerblading brigade 4) Addie and her friends drove down to the nearby gas station.  

As I was straightening my hair one day Coco came in and said, "Can I do it too?" 

These 3 little entrepreneurs decided to go around the neighborhood with this bucket and sign that says, "Dance for Money."  They collected quite a bit and while I appreciated their ingenuity, I didn't appreciate the dance for money aspect.  We decided to repay those supportive neighbors with a treat.

One morning, Devin and I decided to hike the Vortex sans kids (who typically complain when we hike anyways).  It was fun to get out together and the hike was gorgeous.  Amazing views all around.  

We then took the girls up to Cedar Breaks National Monument.  This is one of those places that you are just in awe at the beauty of it.  And we even found snow!

Next up was Pine Valley Reservoir.  This is a beautiful lake surrounded by pine trees and is such a serene place to be.  

For Father's Day Devin requested to be outside somewhere.  So we headed into Snow Canyon with a picnic to play in the sand dunes.  

We spent a lot of days in any water that we could find.  The Virgin River, local splash pads, and Fire Lake are some of our favorites.  

Grandma and Grandpa Wayment came for an overnight visit.  So we showed them around Santa Clara and took them up to the Mountain Meadows Massacre Monument.  Then we took them into Snow Canyon State Park for a hike. We loved having them visit.  

Tess wanted to go on a special hike with mom and dad.  So we took her on a couple hikes in Snow Canyon that we hadn't been on yet.  She was thrilled to have the 1 on 1 time and loved climbing and hiking.

We have been in St. George now for 3 months and it still feels like a vacation.  With Devin working from home and the kids having been home for the last 3 months we just haven't quite gotten into a normal routine.  We are loving it though and we are looking forward to what continues to lie ahead.
