Labor Day Wayment Reunion
We always look forward to our annual trip to the Wayment Cabin over Labor Day weekend. Its a weekend filled with family, four wheeling, lizards, dirt, lots of food and so much fun!
We decided to get a pass to Thanksgiving Point. Mostly for this little's entertainment while the older girls are at school. It's safe to say that she enjoys it.
We were pretty proud of the results of our very first garden! This isn't even a portion of what we produced this year! We still have a lot to learn but we are excited about our future gardens.
This has become such a fun fundraiser that the school holds each year. The girls all love when
it's carnival time!
it's carnival time!
Quincy is loving the 1st grade and I know her teacher just adores her. She often texts me pictures of Quincy winning some contest or other!
And she got to bring home the class "pet" Percy. He went everywhere with us and boy did she love it!
So incredibly proud of Devin. On top of his regular job, family time, church callings, and life in general... he wrote and published his first book!! He and his amazingly talented friend who illustrated the book got the first proof this month and it was up for purchase a couple weeks later. We were so grateful for the amount of support shown to us by our family and friends who purchased the book.
Devin was able to get season tickets to BYU football and we each got a turn to go with him!
Starting em young...
Quincy got a visit from one of California besties, Kaylena. It's always so fun to reunite with our friends!
Had the chance to go to the circus with cousins! So fun! We have never seen the circus before so it was a great experience!
Tess refused to grab the popcorn and eat it. She wanted me to hold it so she could eat it right out of my hand.
Swimming with friends is always the best...
Addie was asked to sing a solo during the Primary Program this month. Now I know that I shouldn't be taking video in the chapel but can you really blame me? She did such a great job and the whole program was so wonderful. Its amazing how much our children can bring the spirit!
I also recorded this song because Devin was out of town. After years of talking about a trip with his brother Ryan, they finally worked it out (or were forced into it by their wives). They were able to go to the BYU vs. West Virginia game held in Maryland. Spent a day in Washington D.C. seeing all the sights. They caught a baseball game in Washington D.C. and another in Pittsburg. Epic brotherly trip!
We spent a lot of time at Ashton Gardens throughout the warm months. It is incredibly beautiful with some fun things for the kids to explore.
At the end of the summer they opened a new garden called The Light of the World garden. There are 32 monument sized statues depicting the life of Christ. It is absolutely amazing!
We also spent some time at Thanksgiving Point Farms. The girls loved the pony rides and seeing all the animals.
